Entre los días 27 y 30 de junio de 2023 tendrá lugar en Vigo la XIX Conferencia Española de Biometría (CEB). En esta ocasión, la conferencia se celebrará conjuntamente con el VIII Encuentro Iberoamericano de Biometría (EIB) y contará con la participación de las regiones Argentina, Brasileña, Centroamericana y Caribeña, Chilena y Ecuatoriana de la International Biometric Society (IBC).

La conferencia está organizada por el Departamento de Estadística e Investigación Operativa de la Universidade de Vigo y el grupo de investigación SiDOR (Statistical Inference, Decision and Operations Research), respondiendo a la petición de la Sociedad Española de Bioestadística (SEB). Contamos también con la inestimable ayuda de nuestras compañeras y compañeros de las regiones Argentina, Brasileña, Centroamericana y Caribeña, Chilena y Ecuatoriana.

El objetivo general de la CEB-EIB 2023 es la difusión de los resultados obtenidos en el desarrollo y aplicación de métodos estadísticos y matemáticos en Biología, Medicina, Psicología, Farmacología, Agricultura y otras ciencias afines.

¡Desde el Comité Organizador os animamos a enviar y presentar vuestros trabajos! ¡Las presentaciones de estudiantes y jóvenes investigadoras/es son especialmente bienvenidas!

XIX Spanish Biometric Conference and VIII Ibero-American Biometric Meeting (CEB-EIB 2023)
Vigo, 27-30 June, 2023

The XIX Spanish Biometric Conference (CEB) will take place in Vigo from June 27 to June 30, 2023. On this occasion, the conference will be held together with the VIII Ibero-American Biometric Meeting (EIB), and will be supported by the Argentinean, Brazilian, Central American and Caribbean, Chilean and Ecuadorian regions of the International Biometric Society (IBS).

The conference is organised by the Department of Statistics and Operations Research of the Universidade de Vigo and the SiDOR research group (Statistical Inference, Decision and Operations Research), in response to a request from the Sociedad Española de Bioestadística (SEB). We also count on the invaluable help of our colleagues from Argentina, Brazil, Central America and the Caribbean, Chile and Ecuador.

The aim of the CEB-EIB 2023 is the dissemination of the results obtained in the development and application of statistical and mathematical methods in Biology, Medicine, Psychology, Pharmacology, Agriculture and other related sciences.

The organizing committee encourages you to send and present your work! Submissions by students and young researchers are particularly welcome!
