Digital preservation policy

The Chilean Journal of Statistics (ChJS) ensures the long-term preservation of its contents through the LOCKSS (lots of copies keep stuff safe) system. This decentralized archiving network allows participating libraries to collect, preserve, and restore the journal's published articles when needed.

In addition to LOCKSS-based preservation, all articles published in the ChJS are available in PDF format and stored on the official server of the Chilean Statistical Society, ensuring permanent access for readers, researchers, and institutions.

This preservation policy aligns with the requirements of indexing services such as the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection, and Scopus.
